On Thursday, September 5th, the inaugural class of the Techstars Sports Accelerator Powered by Indy ended with the accelerator's first Demo Day at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.  After three months in the accelerator program, we couldn't have been more excited to present all that we had worked on over the course of the summer.
The Playeasy Team at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis.

Our CEO, Sean Flaherty, could not have represented our company, and our vision, any better than he did on the big stage. The sleepless nights, weekends in the office and hard work put in as a team proved to be well worth it. Sean confidently delivered our pitch to an audience of venture capitalists, corporate leaders, partners, mentors and fellow companies in six minutes of time.

Playeasy was one of ten startup companies that pitched at Techstars Demo Day.

Techstars was an incredible experience. Not only did the program help us rethink our entire business, but we also made life long friends with members of the 9 other companies, met amazing partners that can help us grow, and got to know the great city of Indianapolis. We’re all incredibly thankful for the opportunity.”

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity we had this summer as part of the Techstars Sports Accelerator powered by Indy. We were able to learn from some of the best in the business, build relationships with influential partners, create lifelong friendships with members of the 9 other companies, and experience all that Indianapolis has to offer. Indianapolis has certainly not seen the end of the Playeasy Team!

A special thank you to Greg Kristof, CEO & Co-Founder of Zero Gravity Basketball, who flew in from Boston to spend 60 seconds introducing Sean on stage. He did an unbelievable job introducing us (some say it was the best intro of the day), and we couldn't have gotten this far without his support!
